Most do not have the visibility or the data to accurately assess the health and effectiveness of the business. When seeking to improve the performance of an organization, it is very helpful to conduct assessments of the current performance of the organization and its employees.
GE/T Green Consulting Group Inc. uses two specific assessment tools to help diagnose the strength issues and problems in your organization. With these tools, we pinpoint the exact issues and then develop a clear and specific plan to address them, which, in turn, moves your business to the next level of success.
By understanding the way in which we think, it becomes possible to leverage that knowledge to make better decisions, mazimize strenghts, minimize weaknesses, and achieve greater successes in whatever we do. When we gain this understanding for another person in an organizational setting, it increases understanding, allows for better utilization of skills and alignment of work, increases management efficiency and effectiveness, and can impact the organization's overall health and performance.
The GE/T Attribute Index is a personal assessment tool that provides information as to how a person makes decisions: intrinsically, extrinsically, or systematically. It also defines areas of strength (maximizers) or areas of weakness (minimizers).
Our approach is unique in that we measure where an individual is now and what his or her essential elements are, and those can become predicators of future strengths. Our approach is outcome-focused rather than simply measuring non-relevant activities. Each individual has the opportunity to decide what action, if any, he or she wants to take. In addition the assessment tool is supported by a comprehensive action planning prcess that helps promote the actions taken.
D.I.AL.O.G (Data Indicating ALignment of Organizational Goals) is a Baldrige Criteria (the Criteria for Performance Excellence) based assessment tool that provides information analyzing how effectively critical elements of the organization are working together to achieve business and strategic goals. It also identifies which of these critical elements are working against you. Through a unique, outcome-focused approach, we can measure the interrelationships of key elements, establishing predictors of future strength.
We gather organizational data through questionnaire surveys and personal interviews. We interview a specifically identified subset of employees in order to better understand the intensity of feelings within your organization. Our survey measures the views of the employees on business and strategic goals, their depth of understanding and areas of strong performance and potential improvement.
In keeping with the Criteria for Performance Excellence, our tool measures the seven Baldrige categories that are used to indicate alignment of organizational goals and effectiveness:
